Paul was raised in a Christian family in the Denver area, and attended church all his life. At the age of five, he made a profession of faith, not understanding salvation.

Pastor Jones became active in ministry as a teenager, and worked in bus ministry, as well as Sunday School. He also attended Bible college, graduating in 1988 with a BA in Bible and Missions. Pastor Jones and his wife, Tiffany were married in 1991. At the age of 23, he realized that he was not truly saved, and accepted the Lord as his Savior.

Pastor Jones then worked as a Chaplain in prisons for over 20 years, preaching and teaching inmates how to trust Christ and grow in the Lord. He has also worked with people specifically in overcoming addictions to alcohol or drugs.

God has also allowed him the privilege to plant a church and pastor for 13 years in the San Luis Valley, in Colorado. While there, he met a Filipino national who came to present a missions work. The missionary challenged him to visit the Philippines.
In 2011, with his four oldest children and a group from the church, he took a short trip to the country. While there, a national pastor asked him if he could come teach them to preach. That request, planted in his mind, grew into this ministry.
Paul began to teach occasional classes to a group of Filipino nationals on the island of Mindanao. As well as traveling back and forth, he has utilized Skype to bring live video classes to the Filipino pastors. A group of American Pastors have banded together to help teach in a Bible college north of Manila. His vision is not only to teach in this college, but also to train as many pastors as possible to effectively reach their own people with the Gospel.
